To get started, visit clideo.com. And there is only one button here: Get Started. All we need to do is click on it. This takes us to the editing page, where we can start creating.

Uploading Media Files

On the left side of the editing page, you’ll see options to upload files, use canvas, and add text.

Step 1: Upload Media

The first step is to add our media (audio, video, etc.). Click on Upload, then select files from your computer, or upload them from Google Drive, Google Photos, or Dropbox. I’ll upload files from my own computer. Select the files you want, and note that uploading might take some time depending on your internet speed.

Step 2: Drag and Drop Media to Timeline

Once the media is ready, drag and drop it onto the timeline. This will add the video to your timeline, and you’ll see a yellow border around it, indicating it’s ready for editing.

There are four main folders for editing: Transform, Adjust, Volume, and Speed.

You can crop, split, and change the duration of your video by moving it from the corners to the desired position. To split, use the Split tool to cut the video into parts, allowing you to delete any unwanted sections.

Zoom and Snap Options

Use the right-side menu to zoom in, zoom out, or fit the screen. You can also toggle the Snap feature to align video parts without automatic connection.

Adding and Overlaying Videos

You can add more videos by dragging them onto the timeline, creating overlays by placing videos on another line, resizing, and adjusting their opacity to fit your design.

Canvas Settings

Adjusting Canvas Size and Background

You can set the canvas to square, vertical, or horizontal formats, depending on the platform (e.g., Instagram or YouTube). You can also change the background color.

Adding Text

Choose from different text templates like simple text, italic, or bold. Adjust text duration, color, font, and size, and align or add background to the text if desired.

Exporting the Video

When your video is complete, click Export in the top-right corner. In the free version, you can choose Standard Quality or HD Quality. Some options may require a paid subscription. After selecting the quality, click Continue, and the video will export to your computer.
