1. Open the Instagram App
First, open the Instagram app on your phone. This method works for both iPhone and Android.
2. Access Your Profile
Tap on your profile icon at the bottom right.
3. Open Settings
At the top right, tap the three lines (menu icon) to go into your settings.
4. Go to Account Center
In the menu, tap on "Account Center" at the very top.
5. Download Your Information
Scroll down to find "Your Information and Permissions," then tap on it. You’ll see an option to download your information.
Tap on Download or Transfer Information.
Select Instagram, then hit Next.
Choose the option to download Followers and Following.
6. Set Date Range
Choose the date range you want. For a complete list, select "All Time" and hit Save.
7. Create the File
Tap Create File. It may take about 5 to 10 minutes for the file to be ready. Once it’s created, you’ll see a download button.
8. Download and Open the File
Hit Download and enter your password if prompted. The file will be saved to your phone.
9. Open the Files App
Navigate to the Files app on your phone:
Go to Downloads and locate the Instagram zip file.
Tap to unzip, then open it.
Inside, choose Connections and select Followers and Following.
10. Compare Followers and Following Lists
Now, you’ll need to compare these lists to see who unfollowed you:
Copy the entire list of followers and following.
Open a web browser and go to compare2lists.com.
Paste the Followers list into one field and the Following list into another.
Click Compare to see differences, which will highlight anyone who unfollowed you.
