How to See Who Viewed and Watched Your Video on Facebook
Today I'm going to walk you through how to see who viewed and watched your video on Facebook. It's pretty quick and simple, so let's jump in.
Understanding Facebook Video Views
I have Facebook open right now, and here's how it works:
If you're looking at a video you were tagged in or a video you posted, you can only see who viewed it if they've liked it or commented on it.
If it's just a view (different from a like or comment), you can't see who specifically watched it.
Checking Likes and Comments
Open the video you're interested in.
If you see a number next to the heart or thumbs-up icons, you can:
Tap on that number.
View the list of people who liked or commented on the video.
Video View Counts
Beneath a video, you'll see the total view count (e.g., "204 views").
Unfortunately, you can't click on that view count to see who the viewers are.
Exception: Facebook Live Videos
The only time Facebook allows you to see who viewed a video is during a live video:
While you're live, you can see who is viewing in real time.
When you replay the video, you'll see who joined the live session.
Other than live videos, there’s no way to identify viewers beyond likes and comments.
